Frequently Asked Questions
What does long-edge & short-edge flip mean?
That's a great question! In summary, "flipping" refers to a printing term that indicates how you prefer the paper to be printed on both sides. Most PDFs are formatted in a standard portrait orientation, where the long edges are on the left and right, and the short edges are at the top and bottom. Some PDFs, however, are in landscape orientation, with the long edges positioned at the top and bottom and the short edges on the sides. Here’s a useful guide:
- Portrait orientation with long-edge flip = similar to a traditional book
- Landscape orientation with long-edge flip = resembles a calendar
- Landscape orientation with short-edge flip = akin to a wide book
Tip: For left-handed learners, a practical approach is to have your portrait documents flipped on the long edge and bound on the short edge. This setup allows the document to open like a notepad, with the coil positioned at the top. While we usually use black coils, we occasionally opt for different colors when we find a great deal. Rest assured, we will always strive to ensure that your document looks appealing.
Can I use any PDF files I own?
Yes. You may upload/use any PDF files you legally own to have printed.
What are your finishing options?
We do -
- Spiral-binding, which includes a sturdy plastic coil and clear, matte-finish covers
- 3-hole punching, perfect for binders!
Please be aware that we are unable to combine different finishing options. For instance, spiral binding cannot be paired with 3-hole punching, nor can 3-hole punching be combined with spiral binding.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
We currently do not ship outside the U.S.
Does it have to be homeschool material?
If your material is for educational purposes, then it can qualify for these printing services.
How soon will I receive my order?
